Ingredients

1kg potatoes, peeled and chopped

3 garlic cloves, crushed

60g butter

½ cup warm milk or cream

Salt and cracked black pepper
Method

Add potatoes and garlic to your cast iron pot and cover with cold water.

Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook until fork-tender.

Drain well and return potatoes to the pot.

Add butter and mash until smooth.

Slowly stir in warm milk until creamy. Season to taste and serve.

Method
